Easy Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix with a whisk for several minutes until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
- Pour into a shallow freezer-safe container (9×12 pyrex works great).
- Freeze for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Remove and stir contents.
- Freeze for another hour or until completely set.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Enjoy.
